My name is Kimberly, and I've been reading and reviewing books for authors for over six years, and in the past year I have also branched out and included product reviews for sellers on Amazon. I have found that I really enjoy being given the opportunity to try a product at a reduced price in return for my honest review of the product. My book review/blogging experience has been incredibly useful, as reviewing a product is not so different from reviewing a novel. I feel that I am able to give consumers helpful, descriptive reviews, and provide them with both positive and negative aspects of the product. I do not give a FIVE STAR rating, and gush about a product, if I do not believe it to be something that is worth buying, and something that people will like. If a seller does not want a negative review, and asks that I not post anything negative, then I simply will not post any review. I am very grateful to those who provide the products for me to review, but it is not ethical for me to rate a product five stars, when it is not worth that, simply because I was able to purchase it at a reduced price. Above all I want to provide an honest, TRUE review, but I will respect a sellers wish to not post a review at all if I do not like the product.
