I think that this necklace is perfect for a wide variety of age groups. I can see it being

purchased as a gift for your mom, but I also believe that it would be an appropriate gift for a younger daughter. I personally love it, and I feel like it looks great with a number of different outfits! I love that the necklace is classic and simple enough that it can be worn with a more casual outfit, like a nice top and jeans, but the intricate design also makes the it possible to wear this necklace with a nicer outfit, and not have the necklace look too simple or out of place. I personally wore it to work (I am a teacher), and it really helped to dress up my simple outfit of black pants and a grey sweater.

The only thing about the necklace that I question, is the fact that part of the lettering is covered by the tree. I mean, I know that it says Love Tree, but you can barely see the second half of the words. However, the tree is so beautifully done, that nothing is taken away from how nice the necklace looks. When I first saw the chain, I wasn't sure about it. I had never had a chain like this one, but as soon as I saw it up close and tried it on, I was more than happy with it! I love that it is a longer chain, because I love the way longer necklaces look with shirts that are both lower cut and a little higher cut. I definitely prefer the longer chain, and the bamboo look is original compared to my other necklaces.

I would definitely recommend this necklace as a gift to someone that you love. I actually would have given it to my mother, but a couple of years ago I bought her a family tree necklace, and while it looks quite a bit different, it does still have some similarities. So, I decided that it's perfect for me, and I have worn it a couple of times since purchasing it last week!
